About Daniel S. Huffenus

Daniel S. Huffenus Managing Attorney
Dan attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania on a 4-year Army ROTC scholarship, and earned a Bachelors degree, with honors, in economics and business. As an undergraduate, he studied abroad at the London School of Economics. Dan followed his passion for real estate by obtaining a Masters degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

After working in New York City as a real estate consultant for several years, Dan earned his Juris Doctorate degree from New York University School of Law, where he was a member of the NYU Law Review. He then clerked for Justice Stewart G. Pollock of the New Jersey Supreme Court before practicing in the real estate department of a prestigious New York firm.

Dan later moved to North Carolina where he developed a highly regarded national real estate practice. He practiced for over 20 years in the Charlotte office of Katten Muchin Rosenman, LLP and served as the office managing partner for 17 years before moving to Asheville and starting his solo practice. With his extensive background and proven track record, Dan is dedicated to providing exceptional legal counsel and service to his clients.
